EMSELLA™ is a non-invasive treatment designed to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and improve bladder control.

Urinary incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine and affects millions of people worldwide.

  • It may be caused by weakened pelvic floor muscles
  • Nerve damage or bladder dysfunction may contribute
  • Symptoms may affect confidence and quality of life

A breakthrough, FDA-approved therapy called EMSELLA™ offers a non-invasive solution for strengthening pelvic floor muscles and restoring bladder control.

How EMSELLA™ Works

Stimulates pelvic floor muscle contractions
Helps strengthen bladder support

Receiving treatment sessions is as simple as sitting on a chair. The patient sits fully clothed on a specially designed seat that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to deliver pulses that stimulate the pelvic floor muscles. Over the course of a 28-minute session, thousands of contractions are produced in the pelvic floor that are more intense than those achieved with pelvic exercises.

Treatment Process

The procedure is designed to be simple and comfortable for patients. Most treatment plans involve multiple sessions scheduled over a short period of time.
1
Patients sit fully clothed on the EMSELLA™ treatment chair.
2
The device delivers electromagnetic pulses to the pelvic floor muscles.
3
Thousands of muscle contractions occur during the session.
4
Each treatment session typically lasts about 28 minutes.
5
Many patients notice improvements after several sessions.
6
Optimal results are often seen after six treatments over three weeks.

One clinical study showed that 95% of patients reported a significant improvement of quality of life after six treatment sessions, and 100% demonstrated a better awareness of pelvic floor muscles because of EMSELLA™ treatment.¹

Who May Benefit From EMSELLA™
Stress urinary incontinence
Urge urinary incontinence
Mixed urinary incontinence
Post-prostate surgery incontinence

EMSELLA™ may be recommended for patients experiencing stress, urge, or mixed urinary incontinence. Women who develop weakened pelvic floor muscles after childbirth, during menopause, or as a result of aging may benefit from treatment. Men experiencing urinary incontinence following prostate surgery may also be candidates.

Benefits of EMSELLA™

Non-invasive option
No surgery or medications
No downtime needed

EMSELLA™ treatments are generally well tolerated, and most patients report only mild tingling sensations and muscle contractions during the session. Because the treatment is non-invasive, patients can return to normal daily activities immediately after the procedure.
