Greg E. Gin, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. His focus and clinical expertise are in urologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery. Trained extensively in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, he treats cancers of the prostate, kidney, adrenal gland and bladder. Dr. Gin performs a variety of oncologic surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System including robotic radical prostatectomy, partial (nephron-sparing) and radical nephrectomy, and radical cystectomy with continent and incontinent urinary diversions.

  • He has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences and has published his work in prominent urologic journals.
  • He is also on staff at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Long Beach where he is the principal investigator for clinical trials related to urologic cancers.

Biography:

Dr. Gin completed his urology residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and his urologic oncology and robotic surgery fellowship at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center.
