Jacob Albersheim, MD

Dr. Jacob Albersheim is a board-certified UCI Health urologist who provides patient-centered, comprehensive care for a broad spectrum of urologic conditions.

He earned his medical degree and completed his urology residency at the University of Minnesota. His clinical expertise includes minimally invasive and robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancers, treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) and robotic simple prostatectomy and comprehensive management of kidney stone disease.

Appreciating the often-personal nature of common urologic diseases, he approaches each patient with sensitivity and compassion, and he values a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to ensure the best possible outcomes for more complex conditions.
