Dr. Gelman specializes in Male Urethral and Penile Reconstructive Surgery and is the Director of the Center for Reconstructive Urology. He is a world-renowned expert in erectile dysfunction and male urethral and genital reconstruction.

Dr. Gelman’s primary areas of expertise include Peyronie’s disease (and other disorders causing penile curvature), hypospadias, erectile dysfunction (including penile implant surgery), urethral stricture disease and urethroplasty, and other disorders involving the male urethra and external genitalia.
Biography:
Dr. Gelman completed his urology residency and UCLA and subsequently became a full-time faculty member at Ohio State University. Later, he completed a fellowship in male adult and pediatric genitourinary reconstruction in Norfolk, Virginia at the Devine Center. Prior to joining the team at UC Irvine Medical Center, Dr. Gelman was a faculty member at Albert Einstein in New York.
