M. Leon Seard, II, MD
Dr. Mohammed Shahait is a graduate of Jordan University of Science and Technology who has pursued advanced medical training at leading global institutions. He completed his residency at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, establishing a strong foundation for his specialization. His expertise was further refined through fellowships in Endourology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Robotic Urology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he trained under the mentorship of Dr. David Lee.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Shahait has made significant academic contributions, securing research grants and publishing extensively. His work focuses on outcome research in robotic- assisted radical prostatectomy.
Biography
Dr. Seard graduated summa cum laude from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his medical degree from Loma Lida University and completed residency at the University of Southern California. Dr. Seard held several leadership appointments, including Chair of Urology, Chair of Surgery, and Chief of Staff during his tenure as a premier urologist for Talbert Medical Group in Fountain Valley. He went on to work in a general urology practice in Nashville and is now a faculty member of UC Irvine.
Roles & Memberships
Dr. Seard previously served in a leadership role at St. Thomas Hospital, assisting training urology residents with various urologic procedures and treatments. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology.
